Sasithon Pooviriyakul is a documentary photographer whose passion lies in capturing the beauty of everyday life. Her work has led her around the world, from shooting a wedding in stormy Iceland, to documenting family life in the deserts of Somalia, to capturing the urban rhythm of her very own neighborhood.
For Sasithon, photographing weddings near or far always inspires a feeling of adventure and an element of surprise. Known for her candid and dynamic imagery, she is keen to travel anywhere on assignment and has photographed weddings in the United States, Central America, Africa, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Her work has been featured in a range of publications, including The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Knot, Martha Stewart, and Brides.
